Jumping Jacks
East Coast Park
Challenge yourself, overcome your fears and try out Jumping Jacks with us!
Learning how to walk in those stilts is the first step to do something you thought you could never do. It really takes some guts to let go of the hands of your instructor and try to walk on your own. Of course jumping is not allowed in your first session, you won’t even be able to run but what is more exciting is to get this feeling of being up there in the air, what happens when you fall? Does it hurt or will you be able to reach the next tree, hug it tightly! Believe me, I never hugged so many trees in my first trial session! 🙂

What happens in your first session:
- Learn how to put on your Jumping Jacks.
- Stand Up and hold on to your instructors hands or an iron rod if we are more people.
- Try to walk while holding on.
- Learn how to fall (no worries it doesnt hurt if you fall properly and you will wear all the gear to protect your knees, elbows and hands).
- Learn to let go (THE SCARIEST PART, but we all managed to let go within the first 15 minutes!!! :))
- Walk freely. Awesome feeling. Great achievement.
Check out this video to get a feel for the fun you can have with Jump Stilts (after you took a proper course, of course):
